Childcare Benefit and Childcare Rebate

Our Centre is approved under the Federal Government’s Child Care Benefit (CCB) and Child Care Rebate (CCR) subsidy schemes, This means that all families utilising this service are:

  • eligible to receive Child Care Benefit (CCB). The percentage of subsidy varies from family to family (depending on gross family income and the number of dependent children). This amount is deducted from your child’s daily (gross) fee, and you pay the difference.
  • entitled to receive Child Care Rebate (CCR). This rebate is 50% of your out-of-pocket child care expenses (ie what you pay to us) and is paid quarterly, directly to you. This rebate is not means tested.

To find out more information about Child Care Benefit (CCB) or the Child Care Rebate (CCR) and to see if you are eligible, please contact the Family Assistance Office on 13 61 50.
